Keith Radford is the long-time co-anchor of WKBW-TV’s 7 Eyewitness News at 5, 6 and 11pm. He joined WKBW in November 1987 and is the market’s longest-running male anchor.

Radford has covered many of the region’s most important stories. After the crash of Flight 3407 in 2009, Radford traveled with the victims’ families to Washington as they pushed for a change in legislation for stricter rules for airlines. He traveled with the Buffalo Bills to their four-consecutive Super Bowls in the early 1990s. Radford was the primary live reporter for ABC News during the first two weeks of the O.J. Simpson double murder story in Los Angeles. He has covered many of the national political conventions since 1988.

Radford traveled with local air reservists to cover the Persian Gulf War and joined members of the 914th at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station as they responded to Hurricane Andrew in the early ‘90s. Radford spent a week at Marine boot-camp in South Carolina and profiled Western New York seamen on board a Navy frigate in the Atlantic Ocean.

Radford has also profiled such personalities as Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel, Tony Bennett and Regis Philbin. He has won numerous broadcasting awards in recognition of his work.

Before arriving in Buffalo, Radford spent five years at KUTV-TV, an NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he anchored weekend news and reported during the week. He was also a reporter for CKVR-TV in Barrie, Ontario.

Radford began his career in radio, anchoring and reporting at stations in Windsor/Detroit, Ottawa and Toronto. For five years, he was news director of the legendary CKLW Radio in Windsor/Detroit.
